Data migration support for
Tab Nap and Speedy Loading improvements
- Added setting to turn OFF “Automatically reload hibernated tabs on focus”
- Simplified the Tab Nap logic so that tabs go into hibernation after 5 minutes of inactivity — unless they qualify as any of the enabled exceptions
- Fixed the regression bug where video conferencing was not exempt as part of audio/video rule
Improvements for Save Menu when “Close tabs after saving” is OFF
- New sessions now preselect only the currently focused tab (optimised for saving current and individual tabs)
- Existing sessions now preselect all tabs (optimised for easy closing)
- “Close” button now closes the entire session when all/none tabs are selected (and also still closes multiple tabs when some tabs are selected)
- Added a keyboard shortcut for “Close” action
Performance improvement
- Index Tab automatically goes into hibernation when the session becomes inactive to save working memory, and wakes up automatically in the background when the session regains focus
Bug fixes and minor improvements
- Added setting to make Index Tab self-close together with the last content tab closure
- Hibernated tabs can now be automatically or manually woken (new setting for Tab Nap and Speedy Loading)
- Fixed bug where hibernated tabs showed Tablerone’s favicon after a browser reboot restored sessions
- Fixed a bug where the Index Tab hijacked focus when opening a new session
- Deprecated option for making toolbar button either ‘Open save menu’ or ‘Save immediately’
- Deprecated option for setting Tablerone as the new window page in Index Tab mode
- Fixed Save Menu tab row highlighter colour in dark mode
